Fuel Cell Surveillance Camera Solution
A fuel cell generates the power, so security cameras can monitor in real time even at sites without power.
An outdoor industrial security camera system with LTE that requires no power wiring or network cabling.

FeaturesFeatures
A camera solution with no power wiring or network cabling required
Solar-powered
- Where power is hard to secure, more and more sites use batteries charged by solar panels.
- In long periods of rain, such as those caused by linear rainbands, the panels cannot generate enough power.
- Video streaming may stop just when it rains, which is when you need it most.
- Depending on the specifications, you may only be able to check still images, not video.
Power generation efficiency can drop when the panel surface gets hot.

Fuel cell–powered
- The fuel cell keeps the camera monitoring reliably even during long periods of rain. Stable operation in any weather.
- You are notified of the remaining methanol, so you can check and act before the system stops.
- Live video viewing is available, and thumbnail images can be saved in the cloud.
- Operates from 0°C to 40°C. Options are available for use in direct sunlight and in cold regions.

Camera monitoring for disaster preparedness and infrastructure monitoring, even where there is no power
Remote monitoring with surveillance cameras has spread in recent years. It is used not only for crime prevention and security, but also for road and railway safety and for disaster preparedness, such as river monitoring and landslide countermeasures. This solution is well suited to places where running power lines is difficult or where backup power is needed.

MaintenanceMaintenance
Checking remaining methanol
You can check the remaining methanol in the fuel cell monitoring app (EFOY Cloud). An email is sent when it reaches a set level.

Replacing the methanol cartridge
(1) Replace the cartridge, and (2) set the fuel level to full on the control panel. That completes the replacement.

Replacing the generator’s power module
The power module needs to be replaced about every 2 to 3 years
Fire Protection LawFire Service Act
If you install one Fuel Cell Surveillance Camera Solution, no notification is required. However, if you store a total of 80 L or more in one place, for example by installing several units or keeping spare methanol, you must file a notification.
- Less than 80 L: no specific regulation
- 80 L or more and less than 400 L: notification to the fire department required
- 400 L or more: registration of a hazardous materials handler and a permit required
