Renesas microprocessor
The AI Edge Gateway uses the RZ/V2MA, a microprocessor developed by Renesas Electronics Corporation
- Two Arm Cortex-A53 cores running at 1 GHz
- Includes DRP-AI (Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor for AI), an AI accelerator for vision, which runs AI computation with low power consumption in the 1 TOPS/W class
- An OpenCV accelerator runs a wide range of image processing at high speed
- H.264 encoding and decoding
