Rebooting

On the Device Management System, you can reboot your device remotely.

Reboot types

There are 2 types of reboot:

Software reboot: After stopping the system of the device normally, start the device.
Hardware reboot: While operating the device, forcibly stop the power supply to the hardware, and then start the device.

If you need to reboot the device, perform a software reboot first.
Only if an abnormality is not solved even after performing a software reboot, perform a hardware reboot.
If you reboot the hardware, the file system may be damaged. Please be careful when you perform this operation.

This section explains how to reboot the device. (Click each item to display the procedure.)

Software rebootSoftware reboot
1. Click the device name.
2. Click [ Reboot ].
3. Select [ Software Reboot ], and click [ Confirmation ].
4. If you click [ Reboot ], rebooting the software will be started.
Hardware rebootHardware reboot
1. Click the device name.
2. Click [ Reboot ].
3. Select [ Hardware Reboot ], and click [ Confirmation ].
4. If you confirm the cautionary note, select the checkbox to agree, and click [ Reboot ], the hardware will be rebooted.
