Nx Bridge: view all the surveillance cameras at a site remotely

A service for remotely viewing and retrieving video from cameras connected to a PC server running Nx Witness

Features

• View live and recorded video remotely while recording continues on the local PC server
• Install an amnimo relay device on site. One relay device gives remote access to 100 cameras
• For PC servers running Nx Witness. Existing servers can also be used

Requirements for using the service

Supported models: AG / AX series devices (firmware 3.6.0 or later required) (Japanese) 

Use: As a bridge router for connecting a PC server running Nx Witness to the Enhanced Video Management System

Operating conditions

PC servers that can be connected: Up to 1 per AG10

Cameras that can be connected: Up to 100 per AG10

(The above numbers are supported even with a thumbnail retrieval interval as short as 10 minutes)

Nx Witness version verified to work: Ver. 6.0.6

(Use the same Nx Witness version on the PC server and the amnimo device)

Network performance

Recommended maximum throughput with simultaneous connections: 16 Mbps

(Example: with 2 Mbps cameras, this equals up to 8 simultaneous connections)

Notes

If the above throughput is exceeded, the following may occur

• Increased latency of live video (live playback)
• Lower frame rate on the video wall
• Limits on the number of cameras that can be connected at the same time

Buttons for controlling camera power (PoE) from the cloud appear on screen, but power (PoE) control is not actually carried out.
