News New firmware for the Edge Gateway AG10 based on Ubuntu 26.04 (evaluation version) released

amnimo Inc. has started developing new firmware (V4.0.0) based on Ubuntu 26.04 for the Edge Gateway (Indoor) AG10 (amnimo G series). The aim is to advance edge computing and provide a more flexible application development environment. The Ubuntu-based Linux environment gives you a platform that makes it easier to use your own applications and the latest technologies. We have started providing an evaluation version of the firmware (V4.0.0-alpha) to some users as a work in progress, and we will continue testing and collecting feedback for future function expansion. amnimo will keep strengthening solutions that link edge devices and the cloud, and will support data use and digital transformation at industrial sites.

Outlook

We plan to expand the functions of this firmware and the products it supports on the following schedule.

Around late July 2026: Functions equivalent to the current firmware (v3) on the AG10 and AG20 

Around late September 2026: Functions equivalent to the current firmware (v3) on the AX11 and AX21 

Around late November 2026: Support for the AR10, AR20, and AX30 

Around late March 2027: Planned release of the official firmware (V4.0.0) with Ubuntu 26.04
