LAUNCHING OF MALAYSIA - JAPAN COLLABORATION ON SMART MANUFACTURING & INAUGURAL SEMINAR: Report from the Podium

On May 2, 2019, Mr. Casey Taniguchi, Chief Executive Operator (CEO) of amnimo Inc. was on stage for LAUNCHING OF MALAYSIA - JAPAN COLLABORATION ON SMART MANUFACTURING & INAUGURAL SEMINAR event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With aim to promote the advancement of Malaysia industries as IoT platformer, amnimo participated the event.

Event Summary

In the direction of promoting the bottom up of the entire Malaysia economy to enhance the manufacturing industries focused small medium enterprises (SMEs), co-sponsored by related organizations of Malaysia and Japan, both of countries jointly cooperated to hold “LAUNCHING OF MALAYSIA - JAPAN COLLABORATION ON SMART MANUFACTURING & INAUGURAL SEMINAR”.

1. Panel Discussion

Moderated by SIRIM, the panel discussion was held interactively based on real experience and with the topic of promoting smart manufacturing for Malaysia. At a given opportunity, Mr. Casey Taniguchi CEO of amnimo Inc. shared introduction of amnimo Inc. and implementing IIoT services in Malaysia. Focusing on Malaysia’s government high expectation for Japan’s efforts towards improving manufacturing productivity and maintaining quality, amnimo Inc. strongly appealed in front of approximately 450 participants that amnimo IoT service can significantly contribute to leading the promotion of IIoT for Malaysia. At the same time, amnimo Inc. also announced TK-International Sdn. Bhd. as local partner in Malaysia.

2. Mini Exhibition

At the mini exhibition corner, amnimo Inc. introduced several use cases of smart manufacturing that concretely apply for Malaysia. The use cases known as ‘IoT Recipes’ were using ‘amnimo sense’, which is the basic service of amnimo that enables user to easily start IoT services at a subscription rates.

Many visitors threw positive feedbacks including SME manufacturers, government agencies, policy makers, and others, and they were deeply interested in the feature of amnimo that offers the solutions at subscription model and also with “amnimo sense” that can easily connect to many type sensors from various makers.
